Q: What is a Hyper-V Cloud server?
A: vServer Center's Hyper-V Cloud Server is a Microsoft Windows Hyper-V Virtual Machine ( VM ) that is served by a computing resource pool (aka Cloud) consists of network switches, enterprise class data storage systems, high end physical computer servers, and Microsoft Hyper-V Cloud Computing software. A physical dedicated server or a Hyper-V virtual machine on a single physical computer lacks redundancy and scalability while each of our Hyper-V cloud servers offers extremely high redundancy and scalability: redundant power sources, redundant network uplinks, redundant data storage systems and data disks, and redundant physical computer servers. If a physical computer fails, your Hyper-V cloud server will be automatically switched to other live physical computers, aka High Availability ( HA ). vServer Center's Hyper-V Cloud Server features:
- Dedicated Operating System: Microsoft Server 2008 or 2003 Enterprise Edition software license included; Operating System can be changed or upgraded at anytime;
- Microsoft Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) access: Customers can reboot Hyper-V Cloud Servers and access server console remotely;
- Administrative Access: Administrative access for Windows Hyper-V Cloud Servers; Customer can install any software or application as long as it is compatible with the Windows server operating system;
- High Availability: If a physical computer fails, your Hyper-V cloud server will be automatically switched to other live physical computers;
- UnMetered Bandwidth: no surprise bandwidth bill each month;
- Enterprise Class storage systems and high end physical servers; All live data drives are fiber channel or SAS drives. All live data are protected by dual parity disks plus two additional hot spare disks.
Q: Do I have to pay extra money for Window operating system software?
A: No. Our Hyper-V Cloud Server fee includes the Microsoft Window Server Enterprise Edition software.
Q: How do I order additional Microsoft Window Software such as Microsoft Window Terminal Services, ... etc?

Q: How do I order additional RAM, CPU, Disk Space, ... etc?

Q: I have a Hyper-V Virtual Machine image, can I send it to you so I don't have to reinstall anything?
A: Yes, you can send us your Hyper-V Virtual Machine image. We will upload it for you so you can power it up and reconfigure the IP addresses. It will be identical to your old Hyper-V Virtual Machine except it has a new IP address. You don't need to reinstall any applications.
